Although flying solo is a pre-requisite to becoming a pilot, it’s often more fun to fly with fellow pilots.

Friends Flying Club is the 1st flying club set up in Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand with the primary aim of promoting the joys of aviation to the general public. The leadership and management are selected through annual elections, ensuring that every member has a real say in the club.

As the members of Friends Flying Club, you will enjoy each other’s company not only in the air, but also on the ground! We have weekly sessions, and social events throughout the year. We often invited to attend air carnivals around the region where they make new flying friends. And hops to airports around the region for fun are commonplace for them.

Friends Flying Club members take advantage of the weather to fly together to the beautiful Samet Island . The wide range of aircraft gave members the chance to experience totally different types of flight. Some brought their children. Others brought their partners.

I flew above the sky in the TECNAM P92JS, a high wing, two seats, single engine, and tricycle landing gear airplane, from Best Ocean Airpark to Samet Island and back, with a stop at Klang Airport (XPQ) for fuel, was one of the highlights of the club's many activities.
